Rebecca Ferguson | Ballet Instructor |WFBT Ballet Mistress
Rebecca began her dancing career at the age of four at the Boehm Ballet Academy of Dance. She joined the Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre at the age of eleven under the directorship of Patricia Thornton and Gary Boehm. She performed several roles in the Nutcracker, most notably Clara, while with Thornton and Boehm. Rebecca continued her career when the WFBT welcomed Valentine and Mishic Liberatore as the new directors. Under their leadership, Rebecca performed as now Queen and Spanish lead in the Nutcracker and Hippolyta in A midsummer Night’s Dream. Rebecca also performed as Louise in Roger and Hammerstein’s Carousel with Opera Breve in 2014. Rebecca retired from the world of ballet in 2016 but continues to help off-stage with rehearsals, teaching and working backstage.
